I think you are 14 days to cancel so don't worry. I always do my own price comparison to work out who is offering the cheapest gas and electric. I use hme4u.co.uk.

The only things you might want to consider are that npower one is fixed till the end of July 09 and you get boiler breakdown cover with it. Do you need boiler breakdown cover?

I would still think you'd be better switching to one of the online fixed price deals as this one is charged at npowers standard rate plus an additional 5% and then doing a separate quote for boiler breakdown cover.

You may be able to swtich to scottish powers 2011 price fix so conisder contacting them

I used the comparison site and i switched to British gas, i did it all online and completely hassle free. If your having doubts about Npower just ring up and cancel.

Sounds bloody stupid now! but no i dont need boiler cover, as i already pay for it!

I think i will cancel and see what scottish power can offer and maybe go for the deal you mentioned.

    Thanks! :o

Do you have meter readings that cover 12 months usage for both your gas and electric? If so, post them here with dates so that your annual usage can be calculated, this can then be keyed into a comparison site with your post code to find out who your best deal is with.

Not sure where you live but if it's in one of npower's host supply areas then I doubt very much you would be wise to switch to them, i.e. they are usually extremely expensive in the West Mids.
