How do you update maps on Navman F-Series?

Options
Hi folks,

We are going to Windsor/legoland on Monday for a weeks holiday. I'm from N Ireland and a friend has gave us her Navman F-Series (with SmartST 2006). But the hotel we are staying at as a base has a post code of SL3 0AT and was only built last year so I'm wondering with the Navman being 2 years old how do I update the maps to make sure it has the hotel on its maps?

Sorry if this is a silly question but today was the first time I'd every drove a mile using a satnavsmile.gif I have to say though quite an amazing piece of techxyxthumbs.gif

I'd really apreciate a helful handthumbsup.gif

To update maps you would need to buy the new maps which cost £59 but if this is a new street or postcode there's no guarantee that it would even be on the new maps.

The best thing to do is add the hotel location as a favourite, if the postcode or even the street isn't on your sat nav then just take a look at google maps and find a nearby location that is on your satnav and set that as a favourite, you will then be able to drive to there and locate the hotel.
