NTL& Telewest Customers using 18866.Money Saving Tip.

If you are a NTL or Telewest Customer and you are using 18866 to route your 01/02 calls via the 0808 access no. Consider changeing to https://www.call1899.com. Why because at the moment you are paying 3p connection and 1p a min to make your calls.Where as if you used the 1899 0808 cable access no you would pay just 3p connection and nowt for the call. ;)

Your calls to mobiles will also be cheaper as well. :D

I am aware that a lot of cable users know this already, but i have recently seen a few cable users were not aware, hence this post.

Recent reports indicate call price has gone up from 0.5p a min to 1p.

    Only from a BT landline.
Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
    They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").

As April2 points out this is only possible for people who have a BT line. The only other alternative is to get yourself an Orchid dialler that can be setup to route your calls automatically depending on time of day and/or type of call.

See this thread for more info and on getting 20% off a dialler.

If you have a memory on your handset you can always enter the 0808 number in your memory at a convenient spot.No need then to remember number,or as bbb_uk suggests get an Orchid Dialler.

I have jumped this post because 18866 have apparently increased price of calls to Cable/Mobile Customers from 0.5p a min to 1p.
