Multi Function Oven

We are replacing our kitchen and we are buying a new oven. We like Bosch. We have looked at 2 the HBN131220B and the HBN430521B. the only difference that we can see between them, other than over £200, is that the dearer one has a Multi Function Oven. Can anybody tell me what a multi function oven is please? I want to see why it costs over £200. TIA

Multi-function means it can be used in several modes such as "fan oven", "grill with fan", "grill only", "top and bottom heat", "bottom heat only", "defrost". Not all have all functions.

If it is not multi-function then it may only have "fan oven" and "grill".

You need to read all the spec carefully and decide what you need.

Another thing which a multi-function oven might have, which a cheaper one won't is a programmer. So, you can set your oven to come on and cook your casserole before you come home.

Like jennifernil says - just check out the list of things it can do and decide if you need them.
