Does anyone know which 3 or 4 would be the nearest for alton towers. we live 4 hours away (south) so anything an hour of less would be wonderful.

Hi, has anyone been on the Sun european holidays yet? How was it?

I'm due to go in September, the sun have sent me a "Ferry crossing confirmation" for P&O ferries but no tickets!? Will tickets be isseued when i check in? I don't want to be laughed at during checkin for having no tickets, just a bit of paper! Also I'd like to change the time of the sailing. I think P&O allow this but The Sun don't.

Do the camp sites really take £50 cleaning deposit off you? If so did you get a receipt and get you money back? thank you!

All the parks are on the coast, so parks in the north west or north wales area are closest to alton towers. Still a good couple of hours driving!

have been to a french site twice, with sun holidays

didn't go with P&O ferries via the sun, so can't help with that i'm afraid

we didn't have to leave a cleaning deposit both times

Was it at Domaine de Drancourt? So they did give you your full deposit back?

You are likely to be sent a reference number not a ticket for P&O and perhaps asked to submit names in advance. All you need to show is that and your passports at check-in, to match up with your details and put your personal information on the ship's manifest, once you are checked in.

But you can only book online if you have a priority number - if not, you need to send the coupons in

Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."
  • Hi If anyone could please send me a priority number I would be very grateful! Many thanks Emma
