I am at my witts end.....
I have 1 unpaid parking fine, letter received from equita, arrangement made to pay back in installments??? broke arrangment, 2 months later another letter with no amount stated but bailiffs on way, call to bailiff advising me that the debt is now £300 odd pound but unable to give correct amount????? letter then received advised £92 o\s but because i did not call the bailiff before 1pm on 1st May debt now £300, I actually called at about 4PM instead. Is there anything I can do.

You need to make sure that you do not have your car anywhere near your home as the bailiff will very likely clamp the car.
You need to ask Equita to provide a copy of the screen shot of your account as clear proof that any visit took place after 1pm and you also need to ask them the name of the bailiff who "apparently" visited you.
If a visit has been made, then the fees are NOT correct and you need to ask for a complete breakdown of the fees.
