Haven't managed to catch up entirely with this thread - this is a very chatty place isn't it? :rotfl:

I have seen quite a few questions about Borax etc. On my local news tonight, they were saying that the company that makes these and other 'natural' things for cleaning has started to produce them again in greater quantities. Not too sure what the company was called but searched and found this:

    http://www.dri-pak.co.uk/index.html

and think it is them. Anyway plenty of ideas on there, as well as products and you can buy online.

    HTH somebody.

....Just had a good look at the site and downloaded their 'range' and 'Soda Crystals' leaflet - fantastic...loads of tips of when and what to use around the house.

Oh no, have got lost in the Dri-Pak website...could be there all night.

I'm very excited now as there's instructions on how to make bath bombs and soaps and putty for the kids etc.! Look under the 'Kid's Fun' link...

Wow, how old are you?? My memory of the 80s is doing the Bucks Fizz routine and wanting a pair of jelly shoes!

(I wasn't going to say it, but I don't let the kids have things like that..I even took the lids off the playdough so it was all dry when they came to ruin the carpet next)
