I agree that you can put the facts as clearly as possible, but people will always go wrong and there is nothing that can be done about this.

Everyday there are queries on :

(a) People who have mixed BT cards with Purchase cards
(b) People who have had their APR's increased to an extortionate rate
(c) People who have missed a payment and their 0% revoked
(d) People who have used their cards for gambling transactions and incurred cash advance fees.

All the info is on the site, and a scan through past threads will show many of the pitfalls.

But at the end of the day the Credit Card companies are business and want to make money. They make no money from offering 0% deals, so they need these traps to earn their revenue.

Thanks to this site, the pitfalls can be avoided and we can actually earn money from the likes of MBNA (i.e. stoozing).
