Nah Nah Nah....

English Riviera is Torquay, Paignton & Brixham.  Blackpool (I was born & bred there) definately aint it.

One of the reasons the area gets the name 'English Riviera' is because of the large number of Palm trees that grow there.  Try growing a Palm Tree in Blackpool and the best you'll get is a blade of grass with an icicle on the end.

There - that should have boosted the towns tourist industry!!!

If there's anyone in Belfast I've got 2 Sony CD clock radios (5125612) reserved at the Ross's Court Extra store.

They're an absolute steal at £15 (were £59). Reserved until close of business saturday. PM me for reservation no.

I have just managed to get myself a Carrera set (3719130) for my son's xmas pressie at the Newry store on R&R. Not sure if any left, but at £15 they are for nothing. He actually asked me to buy one last week.

Having no luck finding a nice watch in N.I. though. Anyone seen any locally?

Also looking for cheap mobile phone locally too.

Mega Frustration

I went to LEWES store this lunchtime and punched in the codes that I was looking for and BINGO!

For Accurist Watch 254/1725 - that I was trying to get for Gario900 - I got a "please order at the till for collection on Wednesday"

I also got this message for 512/5478 - a Minidisc Walkman I was looking for, and a couple of other pieces, including 701/6262 (mechanics toolkit) that I was trying to get for Lisa_n.

Got to the till and the woman entered the codes and then eyed me very suspiciously. She then went off to speak to the manager who, after a short interlude came back and told me that I couldn't order these items because they were not in the current catalogue.

I said that I knew they were old stock but that I still wanted to order them but she refused to accept an order, saying that the deliveries were all mucked up at present.

She then told me to come back in next Wednesday to see if they have arrived.

I asked how how they could arrive if they hadn't been ordered

She said that they got fresh stock all of the time.

I said that these were old stock and would only be sent to stores who ordered them

Still she refused to let me order them.

??? ???

Try ringing customer services 01908 690333 maybe they can help?

Still ring customer services and if they can order it into the store - all you simply do is collect and pay for it Weds @ the store.
