I didn't dress up for court, just some black trousers with trainers. I was at the RCJ and knew if would take all day and I wouldn't be seeing the judge anyway!
Good luck!

hmmmm, i suppose a tshirt with Anton Levey and an inverted cross draped round my neck would be fround upon, also will they allow you to swear your oath on the satanic bible?"Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"

Good luck tomorrow Lily- I knew an ex work colleague who went bankrupt a couple of years ago, and who went into court with a brand new Radley bag (court staff and lady Judge admired it apparantley) and lots of nice jewellery. She really didnt give a t*ss about the whole thing, dont know what happened to her (she was my senior and pretty horrible, though we worked in finance so she got sacked).
Anyway, I just wore work type clothes, but not a pearl necklace (urghh!!)0 -
I went in a suit and then felt well too overdressed as some right scruff bags walked in and out while i was there lolIs a Bipolar bear

Thank you all! You've made me laugh so much just now. I'll avoid the pearl necklace, I think. And no, of course it doesn't really matter what any of us (except Max) wear to court - it's just displacement worry. But I am very much looking forward to hearing the results of Dave asking around Newcastle as to whether he should give or receive!! If I don't check in tomorrow afternoon, don't assume the worst - I have to work tomorrow evening. But I shall report back asap.
You are all treasures!!!!
Lily xx0
