I found one I really liked at Argos at when I thought was a great price with a large freezer, So added to basket as you do.
I was just about to click to pay and I though I'd have a look see if I could get it a few quid cheaper anywhere else. Did I ever!
Argos £379.99
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4760607/Trail/searchtext%3EHOTPOINT+RF187BP.htm
Asda £284.99!
http://www.asda-electricals.co.uk/shop/product/hotpoint/rf187bp.html?
There's £20 quid delivery on Asda's site where Argos charge a fiver but still a massive 80 quid saving here.
Argos, you let me down mate!
Found it even cheaper still......
£270.01 here by checking on https://www.dealpond.co.uk with free delivery

If you've already ordered from Asda and can cancel it it's worth a shot as that's another few quid saving for you which you can use to stock the freezer
Just goes to show you what you can save with a few mins on the internet though.0 -
Yes, I did see it a bit cheaper elsewhere but on websites I didn't know, so thought I'd stick to ones I'd trust, I'm always worried about being bumped?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

Pay by credit card if possible whether it's in a shop on the High Street or over the internet that way you are covered by I think it's Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act which makes the Credit Card company equally liable if there is a problem and the shop refuses to help, plus if you buy over the internet, again use your credit card which covers you under the above legislation for purchases of £100 plus and up to £30k if my memory serves me correctly.
In addition purchases from the internet are governed / covered by the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 to give the consumer a bit more cover.
Hope this helps.0 -
Thanks cheekyweegit
I've never ever had a credit card. I'm an old fashioned youngster, if I haven't got the money, I can't have it. It's annoying sometimes but it's stopped me buying stuff I don't need.
