Ok, so now that i have caught up with most things i will do my dfw things for today!

-Sort through loads of paper work
-Tidy stuff off floor instead of putting straight into the wash
-Try and use up any left overs
-Went shopping to Iceland today for the first time and got lots of bargains, at least nine main meals for £14, will probably serve more as there will be plenty of left overs as well.
-Paid credit card bill when in town
-Used bus pass to get free travel

    -Will look for more jobs
-Finish filling in application for one job
-Look at applying for more jobs
    -Do boring house hold jobs
    -Will do my clicks
-Off to do some slice the pie
-Look into where my parcel is fiasco has been going on for over a month.
    -Check online banking
-Work on ideas for my business, including the gift vouchers and leaflets
-Look on site for business advice
-Look on here for more ways to make and save money
-Check on ebay and bid on items for business
-Go through clothes and look at items to list on ebay, have loads of clothes that i haven't worn in ages so figure now is the time to get rid.
-Look at focus groups and see if there is any i can apply to do
-Email tutor about going next week to finalise paper work due to my massage course now coming an end:j
-Have posted job application form off
-Will write up mystery shopping report

Think thats all for me, its more of a catch up session due to not having chance to do anything for days. Hope everyone is ok.

Claireabelle, hope you have a great two weeks off and OH's BBQ goes well this afternoon, have another drink and it will get rid of the hangover, or so they say!

NW Angel, nice to see you on here and feel free to post your things on here, look forward to reading your future posts.

Babybee, i don't do many clicks anymore, but the one i especially use is cashinco, they have quite a few on there, it soon adds up and the minimum redemption amount is £10,00 unlike some where it is much higher. Would be interesting to know which other daily clicks people use though.

  • Grr, just rang barclaycard and they said that I never had 0% on purchases (so I was lied to 3 times). They are going to refund £20 to cover the interest on the purchases until I have paid off the balance transfer so at least that is something!

Still annoying though, maybe I should still put in a complaint!

    Hello!

Now that I am on holiday I am trying to have a MSE summer so today I have done the following:
    • I made quiche with vegetables from the garden
    • Baked some muffins as gifts for family
    • Pigsback clicks
    • Lots of paperwork
    • Planted new herbs in the garden
    • Laundry (on the pulley)
    • Updated xmas list
Now I am going to go through my bookshelves to see if there is anything I can sell through Amazon. :D
Taking responsibility one penny at a time!
  • welcome Alphie and good luck with the MSE summer!

Aussie, i think it is worth putting in a complaint, you don't have anything to loose and if you are dissatisfied with the service then you have the right to let them know!

  • I think I will (but wait for the £20 to come off the debt first) becuase I think the banks are all panicking about having to release statistics about number of complaints soon so it might make them take things more seriously!

Goes to show that it is worth going through statements with a fine toothed comb!

    Today I have:
    • Done piggyclicks and lightspeed checks
    • Joined another online survey company (they sent me an e-mail inviting me as a link from a company I already answer some for) which will lead to earning Amazon vouchers – always handy! ;)
    • Checked online banking
    • Picked up a cheque for some extra work I have done for a previous employer (and who still farms the odd bit of work out to me from time to time) – particularly welcome after the developments of the last week! And there is the option of some extra temping work there over the next few weeks, which could come in handy in making up the shortfall...:j
    • Put £30 on Mr P’s pay-as-you-go mobile at Boots. However, with the current O2 offer of “top up £30 before end of June and we will give you £5 for free”, plus Mr P’s contractual agreement that he gets 10% of his top ups back in extra top ups, plus various extra points vouchers from Boots (1 x Double points, 1 x Extra 150 points for topping up £20 on O2, and 1 x Extra 150 points for £25 spend, all of which came in the post, plus another 1 x Extra 200 points for £25 spend which the Advantage card machine spat out at me for "today only"). So, for paying £30, we get £38.50 credited to the phone and another £7.40 worth of Boots points – not bad! :T Plus, he only uses the phone very occasionally, so that top up will probably last him until Christmas now… :p
    Think that’s it for today… :D

    Hi All (again)

Was going to buy a cycle helmet and some other bits for my bike. Looked on Halfords and there was a 3 for £30 accessories sale. I thought OK I need...
    • a pump
    • a gel seat
    • a lock
    • a new helmet
    • a cycle bag (a small bag that fits under the seat)
So I was going to take up the offer and buy the others as 'extra'. Anyhow, went into Wilkinsons and bought all of these for £25 :T. Guess where I'll be heading if I need anything else.
Debts at the start of my journey - about £23,000 lightbulb moment 01.03.2007 (1st payment to CCCS)..Debt Free Date 25.06.2013 Deposit savings £17,000/£30,000
