Malaga airport car hire

We will be going to Malaga the end of this month and need car hire for a week. We've never hired before so am unsure where to start and what to look out for. I've looked at Avis (tesco points bonus!!), but they want 12 euros extra per day to not pay an xs and 6 euros per day each for additional driver and booster seat.

I've looked at carjet who are considerably cheaper but don't include petrol, but seem to include everything else.

We need to collect a car at Malaga airport when we land for 7 days. there are 3 adults and 2 kids (4 and 7), so we presume we need an estate or Zafira sized car.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

I have made a reservation which starts next Saturday with https://www.Amigoautos.com which I found through https://www.travelsupermarket.com .

Total cost was 105 Euros for a 7 Day car hire from Alicante airport which was 9 Euros cheaper than https://www.Carjet.co.uk.

(They also do Malaga Airport)

The car is being picked up from Europa Goldcar

Has any one else hired through Amigoautos ?

We have used Carjet from Malaga Airport and had no problems.

A tip worth remembering is that when you have collected your baggage, go through the doors on the right, not out into the arrivals hall. This exit takes you down to the car hire area, but isn't well signposted as I recall. If you get into the main arrivals bit, you can't get back and have a long walk round.

Carjet at Malaga Airport was cheapest for me, booked today
6 days hire 112.50Euros so thats about £79.
