Hello
Have you been somewhere for propper debt advise? if not i would suggest the CAB, national debt line or CCCS.
They can not look at something they do not know about, unless you have decleared it, and even then i do not know. Has this gone legal..... but my stongest advise wiuld be get some professional advice...it will be better in the long run....and these people are used to dealing with issues, something which can be new and frightnening.
One word of advice... do not open the door to any creditors....
Good luckThere is no need to run outside

Hi, there! As this isn't an Old Style question, and an you refer to your creditors, I'm going to move this to Debt Free Wannabe board. They'll be able to answer your question, and help you with the other aspects of dealing with your debts.
Best of luck :rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
hi,
thanks for moving to DFW section, thats where I meant to post it
I am joining DMP with triple CCCS, but they seem a bit unsure when I asked them the question re any savings that I might be able to hoard away....
anyone else?
thanks

Can they see them? Not unless it is a matter of IVA or Bankrupcy.
Depending on your actual situation however it might be more prudent to use it to pay off a debt? Why not post your full SOA and we can have a look at it for you?
Just to clarify - the creditors can't see your savings... the official reciever or whatever they're called (sorry having a blank moment...) can and usually WILL go through your bank accounts etc and don't even THINK of trying to hide stuff from them in a bankruptcy situation - it WILL come back to bite youDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! What do you class as a rainy day? I would think that it would be worth paying off some of your debt with what you have saved (I am sure that is what Martin is always saying). Not that its a criticism mind you. But maybe its worth considering.LBM £18463.32 in debt 10th June 2008,£12470.99 in debt 10th June 2009.:jTime flies like an arrow.
