Bamboo Flooring

Hi,
Were thinking about having Bamboo Flooring layed in our hallway and dinning area has anyone any pro's & con's about this sort of flooring. Ive read that it has a 25yr garantuee and its also very hard wearing.
Anyone got it, are you happy with it?

I had it in my porch for 18 months. Still comes up looking new with a wipe over.0

ive got it in my lounge/bedrooms deffinatly would recommend it it cleans up lovely and can be sander re varnished a few times .our lounge has been down 2 years now and still looks like new. if you order from screwfix they deliver next day for free.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. when we fitted a solid wood floor we didnt choose bamboo because we had light ash furniture the bamboo was slightly darker .my wife chose cherry wood because of colour match we have had it down 8 years now and still looks great not touched it since i fitted it apart from mopping and hoover.bamboo i would say was much harder wairing the cherry wood has got heel marks in the hall were wifey hasnt taken em offif you think peoples advice is helpfull please take the time to clicking the thank you button it gives great satisfaction0

I used carbonised bamboo, hope the pictures show you what it is like. I love it although the varnish seems a little prone to scratching, the effect is lovely.

CrimeWave your photo's look great, how long have you had it down? Have you had the same problem as a6windows with the heel marks as you come through the front door? what colour did you go for?My mind tends to wander............If found please return;)
