Phone local bike school, ask to book Direct Access.
Take Theory Test before your booking.
Turn up on Friday, have 3 days of learning test on Monday.
Licence in your hand, buy a 1300 Super Sports and die on Tuesday*
*this bit is optional0 -
As it currently stands you can ride a moped (a 50cc restricted to 30mph), without L plates and you're allowed a pillion
Do a CBT (around £100) and you can ride up to a 125 with L plates and no pillion
Then there's various test options after that:
A1 Light bike, allowing you to ride a 125 without L's and with a pillion
A Standard bike, which has a 2 year 33bhp limit
DAS, Direct access, costs more but you can ride any bike after it0 -
quick note, is the test is changing in October apprently, it will become harder. It's worth doing it now if you want to do it.
It's a great fealing and one I can only compare to a Ferrari, a flat out bike is amazing. I love it0 -
Yes the test will be harder, longer, and you may not be able to do it locally
