    I was quoted 2k for my last house,a three bed semi.Did same as you and did all the donkey work and got it for less than half that.

    Thanks for everyone's comments here. I am arranging for a builder to look at it and give me some quotes.

    I was stretching myself a bit to get the house and update it, I wasn't expecting these extras. Life is never simple is it :rolleyes:
