Oh how I sympathise about schools and their never-ending fundraising. And Scouts subs. Just the word Scouts makes me feel sick - I've got to pay for two summer camps on top of three lots of subs.

YOU WILL GET THAT JOB!! Think positive. Rehearse every possible question in your mind before you go.

A bit of news, a mixed blessing. DD2s Brownies is ending after a camp in May as they can't get a leader. She had signed up for the camp then changed her mind when we were all invited to a party/camping fest/60th. No subs to pay for Brownies, mind you they might get somebody else (poor sod) to do it.

Thanks LT. It seems to be no matter what sort we get they squeak. In fact the only time they don't squeak is when you accidentally catch them and its not raining. Go figure!

How did it go, Lucielle? And when will you hear?

My interview was OK - with an agent who wasn't giving anything away, but she said there had been lots of interest in the post... I will hear next week.

I had a nice day anyway, enjoyed walking through the city of London in the sunshine and met up with six old friends, one planned and the rest by chance! So whether or not I get the job it was a good outing.

Anyway, I will look out for your update.

Thanks Seaxwyn. It went ok and I am through to the second stage. I have to go into the office tomorrow afternoon for half an hour to see how it all runs. I have just been brushing up on my excel skills as they are a tad bit rusty. I should know by the weekend as the owner goes away and wants it all sorted 20 applied, 12 interviewed and I think 4 are back tomorrow.

Quick trip up to the horses, check the rug fits, muck the old boy out and then back home. The hoover decided it wants to die. It has been on its last legs and halfway through hoovering its said enough is enough! Nice neighbours have moved out so I can't borrow theirs.
