Weekend was ok. Didn't do very much. Took the dog for a walk, dropped DS1s friend off, picked up DD1 and been to a pantomime which was a freebie! A couple of £s spent on some sweets.
OH is out at work and won't be back until morning. He is 'patrolling' looking for the white stuff that is supposed to be coming.

Used my last firelighter today! Hope the weather improves so I can get some more! Still trying to use up carpy coal which it doesn't like. Children are at home so that's a few quid saved on dinner money!
Going to make Leek and potato soup for dinner. The I will be a brave soul and go and search the freezer for tea.

Forgot to say I won a fiver on the scratches this morning. I was able to cash out and along with the dinner money I paid another £17 off the target card.
OH has made it into work so he is under strict instructions not to venture home if he doesn't have any firelighters! Also put in a small request because I need CHOCOLATE.

OH has remembered firelighters and chocolate. However DS2 pointed out he was going on a school trip and I felt mean because he hadn't anything nice to go in his packed lunch, so, being a nice mummy I grudgingly donated MY CHOCOLATE!!!!
All children are at school needed to take DD2 in as bus driver couldn't get here. Was supposed to be going to see the boys but I think they have their own climate and are snowed in!
New plan for today is to make the manky bananas into banana bread, flapjack and maybe Twinks hobnobs. I have also got some broth soup mix soaking. Never really used this before so I will have a play with that.
Will have to remember to do the scratchcards later as the site is down.
Also got to battle with the bloomin' stove,
