Day off today and it has been glorious. Got loads of washing washed and line dried and it all smells fab-u-lous. OH and I went to my work to have a look at the workshop. We were going to go out for lunch but I forgot my handbag and he forgot his wallet!!! We also had the mutt in the car as I was going to call in at the vets and get her weighed and then some wormers. Came home and dropped her off, grabbed my bag and went to the pub for lunch.

Came home and sorted out the wellies which I plant up every year and then sat in the garden and wrote a letter to my friends in France. OH has been busy mending the trailer as the brakes had siezed on and needs new brake cable. He's ordered this and hoping to have it ready for Thursday when he goes to the auction, hopefully to get rid of lots of crap thats been hanging around.

Phoned the lady whose house we viewed on Monday, as I know her to just say it wasn't going to be the one for us. Explained that it was too small and we weren't up for a build project. She was fine about it. OH is busy getting quotes for Morris as his insurance is due in April.

  • Hey L glad you had a nice day

Me dear your seeds are ready for you - can you PM me your address

And with looking to move, you're probably not wanting veggie plants are you? If you are an idea of what you are thinking would be grand as I'll allocate yours and grow the rest to order for you if you still need them.

If you want it, I've probably got it!

    :)

Been awake since 5.15, not funny especially on a weekend. Ds1 has manged to get a job (not sure if its paid bit the experience will be good) helping out with the lambing so had him to drop off at 7.30. Weather has deteriorated and its that fine drzzly rain, very disappointing.

Feeling quite anxious about money at the moment. OHs wages have gone down alot and our debt isn't going down that fast. I'm not sure how to handle it. I keep thinking making the minimum payment is ok and it will go down but it does go against the grain. I've been looking in the paper to see if there are any evening jobs I could do but nothing happening. I get paid on Wednesday and have managed to do 141 hours over the 4 weeks, not bad considering I only do 4 days. Not sure I can cram in that many hours over the next period as I've got a bit of time off at Easter.

Its DS1s birthday tomorrow and my oldest baby is going to be 16!!!!! I was talking to the college he wants to go the other day trying to find out if any grants were available. They were waiting for the government to get sorted. The way it stands at the moment we would be looking at £3838 for his accommodation costs!!!!! Have only got about £300 saved up.

DD2 is going bowling with a friend later today might take the other 2 swimming.

  • Accommodation costs are scary, i would look into all of the available grants at the time.

Before i came down with the lurgy, i was going cold as well- of course it could be the constant weather change, or just the fact that you are tired.

Feeling really fed up, I look forward to the weekends then we never do anything. Got no money etc, end up comfort eating, though thats getting difficult as we've nothing good to chomp on. Bored. Gosh I sound like a petulant child.
