Thanks V, I really hate talking about money and not especially good at blowing my own trumpet. Actually had a really good chat with my boss and mentioned that I was busy, later when I was making the brews he said to only make him one if I wasn't too busy. Did tell him that I was the scarcastic one and as it was him I would try to fit him in! Feel like I am giving him my all as I managed to negotiate a new contract with a company that normally requires a deposit and got them to waive it.

Took the chaps swimming on Thursday night as felt they were being neglected. I did leave them with a list of jobs to do whilst I was at work. Did 5 hours at my other job on Friday night and working again next Saturday. DD1 can come as its another large event. She got curry sauce on her new white shirt, I've washed it with vanish but its not come out, any suggestions welcome.

OH has been poorly with DS2s cold, he woke up drenched in sweat on Friday morning. He seems to be getting rid of one thing and another gets him.

Gadget that was fitted on the car on Wednesday seems to be working, OH is going to call in and pay for it today. Still need to get the tyres. OH got paid yesterday and only have £8 left till Friday. I get child benefit on Monday and paid on Wednesday, hope my wage rise takes effect but trying not to build my hopes up.

Went to some local woods this morning, DD1 took har camera she got for Christmas so had great fun getting the chaps to climb trees and pose for piccis, even managed to get the hound to co-operate and get her in a couple of photos. Written a letter to my friends in France, it has been on my to do list forever so well chuffed I've got it done.

Going to have a go at making those pizzas as advertised by Sainsbugs, with puff pastry. I've got some mozzarella lurking in the fridge. Asda order came on Friday night, got some alcohol so will be a happy bunny later on. OH has finished night shifts and he is very relieved as he hated doing them. He really needs to manage his time when he is on his days off, so he gets maximum output.

I normally take Thursdays off but the other girl I work with wants that day which is fine by me as I've nothing planned. Thinking I might not take a day off, see how much I get done. Would like to take the Friday off but I've got my NVQ trainer coming.

I'm trying not to get excited about Tuesdays viewing bit mentally think I've moved in. Got such a loooooonnnggg way to go.

Had somebody try to rob one of our sites on Friday. The manager threatened them with scissors and then her and another lady chased them off. The thug was wearing a balaclava and was spotted by the other worker who then noticed the knife and managed to shout a warning.

Had to wait until a phone call last night before i could post anything. The house is FANTASTIC, you could move in straight away and not need to decorate, a very big plus as we both hate painting and can't do wallpaper. There was a few things I had forgatten since our last visit. Its a sort of 'H' shape. The 5 bedrooms are at one end, the master has an en-suite (with underfloor heating, swoon). One of the smaller bedrooms has an en-suite shower, loo and sink, house bathroom with underfloor heating. A nice open wooden floored hallway with a dining room off and then a very large sitting room with french doors.

Then a BEAUTIFUL, mahoosive kitchen with fitted country style units and electric aga. It also has the facility to be switched off and use 2 separate rings with a separate fan oven. Sort of behind the kitchen is a snug with fireplace and a then a conservatory/garden room, that was a bit chilly. Also off the kitchen is a stair way that leads to what would be our office and a very large attic storecupboard. If we wanted to this could be converted to 2 extra rooms with a shared bathroom. Also off the kitchen is a utility and toilet and back door.

Outside the garden is about 1/3 of an acre with a veg patch and lots of shrubs. There is a single garage which has planning to convert into some sort of granny flat, but it would be OHs workshop. There is 3 1/4 acres fenced into paddocks and 2 stables plus storage. If you've got this far well done.

Here comes the crunch, the price he quoted when he phoned up was wrong, which doesn't surprise me as it was 100k less than he was asking, however it does alter the goalposts. They haven't started looking and really aren't going to look until they have an idea what its worth. So they want an offer and then they'll look and might, might not find anything. However my BIL did come up with a plan that was to do a quick exchange and then have a long completion date.

OH phoned them to see how much 'apart' we are on price and to test the water. We were waiting for the call back last night. The vendor feels we are too far apart, however we are going for another look on Saturday but without sis and BIL, see if we can make any headway. Why is nothing simple?
