Still trying to get the payment to go through. I have sent it the long way round I think the snail may have stopped en route as I'm desparate to update the snowball.
Next card is the HSBC which has been cleared several times over and is now at £960 ish. Going to see if the money has arrived.

Phoned the bank and because it was over £250 it has to go by BACS. AAaaaaaaagh. I remembered this as soon as he said it. Will now have to wait until next week. If I had waited until tomorrow morning it would've gone. Damn! Patience is a virtue and all that (just wish I posessed it)
DD1 has been really helpful and made 8 banana breads. Its great now she is old enough to read a recipe and do it, even washed up!
All bedding has been washed this week, ours is in the tumble dryer as I type. Just got a bill through for DD2s dyslexic lessons and its £50 less than I thought it was going to be.
I am trying to be more organized on the budgeting front. I have set up e-saver accounts for,
Cars
Christmas
holidays
Horses
rent
glasses (I need some new ones)
Trips
oil
And put a bit by each week depending on OHs wages. We are running a bit low on coal, should have enough for over the weekend.

Fantastic news on the payments.
I don't know whether you will be wasting money on snow tyres..think they are good in the snow and pretty poor in compacted ice as far as I've read..maybe worth looking into.
Good idea about the individual pots for savings.0 -

Hi beanie, I have been over and posted on that thread after reading about it on Hyonos.
I have been on the phone to Barclays for ages. I have an agreement with the local branch to pay £10 per week off my o/d. With Christmas it hasn't happened, no problem just give the telephone banking a call. The o/d was at £1330 and I wanted to reduce it to £1250, it took me 45 mins to get through security! It should be done but not until next week!!! So frustrating as I still can't update my siggy.
OH is cooking stir fry so going to stuff my face and have another beer.
