Been to Skye before, its ace as long as the weather is with you. We have friend who have a small holding and the children are up at the crack of dawn to go and milk their goats! Not much of a lie in for us.

Managed another long day yesterday but declined an evening shift. Mum has gone home, so its nice to have the house to ourselves. Off to watch a chick flick and devour some crisps.

Skye sounds lovely, were hoping to get more weekends away once this debt is busted and there are a few more euros to spare.

Its always nice to get your house back isn't it. Lovely feeling you can just relax now and get back to NORMAL. My oh always laughs when I say that whatever NORMAL is in this mad house!:rotfl:

I am such a funny bunny in that I have to have the house spotless before I go away. The rest of the year its a tip. If I don't get in that car completely exhausted from cleaning I haven't scrubbed enough. I am getting myself revved up and warning the children.

Had a letter off the landlords to say they are putting our rent up by £100 per month from October. Cheers. Oh has phoned CAB to see if they can put it up that much, they can. We are hoping to make them an offer. Here's hoping.

Just got the 2nd area delivered and now only have 1 delivery to make, which if I remember I will do it tomorrow when I go and see the boys. OH made a nice carbonara type thingy for tea. Hoping no to have to do any shopping this week till we go on our hols. Nearly out of cereal and got no sliced bread. Could be an interesting week.

Thats a big hike in rent. Hope you manage to come to a compromise with the landlord.
Im the same re cleaning before I go away, Im sure its all in the mind, that you dont want to come back and HAVE to clean. Happened to us though the cat managed to get in from the front porch, and had been sleeping on our bed. I dont mind of course but Mr T is totally allergic to cats and looked like a rabbit with mixi the next morning!!!
Poor cat is only allowed as far as the porch normally, but he is used to it and he is such a lovely boy (the cat not Mr T:rotfl:)
