Hi
Had a bad day and bad week in fact so I guess I'm looking to have a bit of a rant.
I'm on a DMP with the CCCS and have been since the beginning of the year but 2 months ago for some reason, they stopped paying one of my creditors. I spoke to them when this first happened and they said they would hold my money in trust and pay the creditor double this month. Well, it's not happened and this is now the 2nd month the creditor's not been paid. I wouldn't normally worry too much about it as it's not my fault but this particular creditor has been a particularly nasty one and I had to assure them the last time that they would get double this month and they reluctantly went away, but only after having threatened me with just about everything.
I feel a bit let down and disappointed with the CCCS, especially as they promised to sort it last time and I've now got to deal with another barrage of horrible harrassment from the creditor over the weekend (they've already left a couple of messages on my answerphone today). I won't answer the phone but it's just frustrating.
Anyway sorry for the long rant but this just about tops off my grotty week and I was looking forward to the weekend.

That's really poo!
Keep on at CCCS to sort it out, remind them that you're the one that gets harassed by the companies when they don't get paid.
Hope your weekend is better!
hugs for you!

We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

If I was in your shoes, I'd pay the creditor by sending a £1.00 postal order, until it's cleared up with CCCS.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional0 -
Call CCCS immediately - have they said why they accidently didn't pay the creditor? Was it a system glitch, human error, something else?
It IS possible the creditor is being a pain in the back end and actually refusing the payments and trying to use this to force you to pay up quicker etc - call CCCS asap and find out what is going on.
If the creditor calls you give them your CCCS ref and hang up the phone.DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

They said that the creditor had wanted it paid into a different account. It's actually a Monument credit card but Compucredit collect the Monunment payments. CCCS told me that when I rang them.
I do hang up the phone but it's annoying when they ring at 8am on a Saturday and Sunday morning from some obnoxious call centre in the States especially as they think they have a different Law to the UK!Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free

Ask them to hold while you get the details then leave the phone off the hook, if they are calling from the states its costing them money.Barclaycard 3800

Most of the time I don't answer the phone and let it go into answerphone, especially with numbers I don't recognise. It's just annoying more than anything escpecially as I've had silence from my creditors for a few weeks and feeling much happier about it.
Just frustrated that I can't do anything about it until Monday when CCCS re-open. In the meantime, I've got to put up with some morons who think they know more about UK law than I do. I'm not scared or worried about them, it's just annoying and I could do with out it especially as I thought things had been sorted and calls had stopped.Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free
