Credit card for online purchases

Hi everybody, long-time lurker, first time poster here.

What credit card would you advise for me to use for doing online purchases only? I intend to buy with the credit card then pay the balance at the soonest opportunity, preferably as soon as I complete a transaction.

I may also use it for expenses when I have to travel with work, again, balances would be paid ASAP.

Up until now I've been using my debit card online, however I recently had an experience with identity fraud and I've realised it's maybe not the cleverest idea to shop online using a card linked to an account my wages go into!

I would use a cash back card or a reward card if one appeals. Look at the credit card section, that'll have the best current deals.

If you can get one, I find egg money very good.
