Thanks cookin,
It will be a bit of a commute to do ur garden...(Actually, could do with sorting my OWN before I charge people to do theirs for them...! ) LOL.
The idea is very new, but I might make a little sign and get it in the post office window tomorrow morning. Alot of older people go in there and might need help with this sort of thing.
Yipee right excited now

good luck noggin! good idea as well! many people are always looking for people to do odd jobs! how exciting!0

Good for you, noggin!
Maybe you could get some flyers printed and distribute them round the neighbourhood ?0 -
Ew Ew! Nearly forgot to tell you of my new venture!
Me and DH have a little joint idea... (unusual for DH to agree with my wacky ideas...!), but, we're going to put a little ad in the local paper for small gardening jobs/grass cutting and ironing services.Throw some opinions at me please people, we're new to the idea and I'm hoping for a bit of advice etc??!
x
You can't buy advertising as good as word-of-mouth, so make sure that you spread what you are doing around your friends and rellies - after all they will know how good at doing these things you are likely to be.
I do the odd bit of IT work - most of it comes from friends of friends.
Good luck!Dealing with my debt - one click at a time0 -
Hi, am still new to this site, but i really wanted to have a go at this challenge.
I am aiming for £5 a day to start, as im not sure how good i will be at this. I have signed up on Quidco and Dooyoo. But nothing much has come from it yet. Have been writing lots of reviews on Dooyoo, but got a long way to go on there.
I have made £10 since sat night. I was taxi on sat night and i got £10 for it, so, so far so good. I'm going to get as much stuff as i can to put on ebay at the weekend and try and put a few things in the local paper, as i have lots of old baby things from when my daughter was little, clothes, toys, pushchairs etc....
I am always open to any advice people would like to give me
And good luck to everyone.January GC £33/200
Christmas 2012 savings £600 -

Hiya Olivia!
If you are looking to sell old baby gear as well as local ads, ebay and car boot you could find out when your local NCT has its bring and sale on - I know quite a few of my mummy friends have made the best profit out of old kiddy gear by selling at the NCT. Good Luck for July!0 -
Hi cookinmummy, thanks for that advice. Can i ask thou, what is NCT?? I have never heard of that before.
Good luck to you too. By the looks of June, you are going to do great in July.January GC £33/200

If you click the link it will tell you were your local one is. It is amazing how much stuff you hoard in your loft - that someone else will happily pay money to take it off your hands.0 -
