I seem to be running out of steam after a decent start. I'm now thinking that £4 a day is a lot more realistic target for me. I was getting frustrated with not receiving anything for all the effort I was putting in with surveys but just checked Ciao and balance is gone up by £3.60. Finally some progress.

The only 2 sites that seem to be working OK for me are CoffeeClicking and SlicethePie, so am going to focus my efforts on them and see how close to the £4 a day target I can get.

I was supposed to be getting some backpay but looks like that won't pay out now till at least August. This month I will only get my bonus payment, but not going to include either of these in my challenge total.
I am so glad that someone else seems to be struggling with the survey sites, I was getting so annoyed with them, I don't know how much I have started and gotten a few questions in, and then the message pops up about how I don't fit the criteria, arghh! I will go and try your Coffee Clicking and Slice the Pie to see if they are any better.

Also the yougov site, I have never actually been able to do another quiz apart from the initial one, so my yougov balance is still just sitting at £1:mad:

Thanks amethystcash, Kalojac x

Hi Everyone :hello:
:)

I ended up doing a car boot yesterday at the caravan. I took all the stuff down in order to do a car boot bank holiday weekend- was just trying to get organised, but then when we got there- my Aunty she was doing one yesterday, so I thought- oh go on then while the weather is nice. Ended up coming out with like £35 ish, so it was worth it I suppose. It was really quite quiet though, there were 100's and 100's of stalls, but hardly anyone walking round- too hot me thinks??

I am still going to do another one over bank holiady weekend, and I've now managed to go through everything and bin all the cr4p as well, and packed it away nicely yesterday (for once), so next time I get it out it will be slightly less tedious :rotfl:

Anyway, will add the £35 to my pathetic total, bring on August,I'm going to be on a right rampage with the saving- I am using it for a good cause (Paris spendo), so should be easy to keep motivated! :D:beer:

xx

ps- well done everyone so far  :T do we have a volunteer for the august challenge yet- means as it starts on Friday (how quick has this year gone so far  )

ciara - are you up for it again? anyone? if noone else leaps up to the challenge I will do it again in August - it did at least keep the challenge at the forefront of my mind! but think it is good for different people to have a go so am very happy if we have another volunteer!

I would offer myself, (don't want people to think I'm being quick to nominate others, but not willing myself), but I just wouldn't be able to put the time into it what I think it would need.
I start my new job 18th August, and it's nearly double the hours what I'm used to, so I think I'm going to struggle with finding time for most things until I get my head around the extra hours!

Like Mizmir, I'll do it if no one else wants to :o We could even do it together us 3 if you both are up for it, to share out the responsability so that no 1 person is doing it alone?
(*waiting to see if ciara wants to do it alone first!*) :rotfl:
