I'm sorry if these have been posted before - but I am used to ebay spoofs but these ones my mother just got are very convincing. Rather than telling you "you have been locked out, re-enter your personal details" etc, it simply appears to be a response to a question which you have apparantly made to another ebay member, but all the buttons link to a fake logon-screen.
She also got another one which appears to have come from her own account  which is offering an item for sale outside ebay. All the links are legitmate though.

I have changed her password and forwarded to spoof@ebay.co.uk naturally.!!! ATENTION !!! DO NOT CLICK THE ''RESPOND NOW BUTTON'', CONTACT THE SELLER DIRECTLY AT: whted@aol.com IF YOU WANT TO PURCHASE THE ITEM.!!!
Congratulations! You have received a Second Chance Offer on the item entitled: '' 200cc YAMAHA RAPTOR STYLE ADULT QUAD/ATV MOTORBIKE '' (Item 4578980682) for your last bid price of £450.00. Our seller: whted@aol.com made you this offer because the winner of the auction is unable to complete this transaction at this time. This transaction will be made through eBay and will be supervised and protected by the eBay Safe Harbor Team with the new Buyer Protection Program offered by eBay. Transactions with this eBay seller are covered by purchase protection against fraud and description error.
!!!ATENTION: IF YOU ACCEPT THIS SECOND CHANCE OFFER PLEASE CONTACT THE SELLER DIRECTLY AT: whted@aol.com .

Just ensure you never reply to a message unless it is through the my ebay messages!
you can see it is a spoof by the spelling mistakes!!
Thanks for letting us know!

Spoofs vary from day to day, anything with a clickable link is suspicious, all 'real' ebay mail will be in your messages when you log in so feel free to ignore everything else.

If an email is not addressed to you personally, then it will be a spoof. Just recently I have had some which pretend to be from PayPal saying there is a problem with my payment for an ebay auction item (which is great I never buy anything just sell!!!)0
