I don’t want sell them at a loss but want to move them to a cheaper platform as they pay virtually no dividends. Hopefully they will regain their value eventually. i have an isa with iWeb but they are not perfect and was hoping for…

When to withdraw money from a stocks and shares ISA?
Hello, I'm trying to get my head around how stocks and shares ISAs work as I'd like to move over some money I have from a cash ISA. But I'm not sure I understand quite how they work. Whenever I read the guidance on the ISA site, it just makes my head spin! Maybe this is already an indicator these aren't for me...but…

Business Gas Supply
Our property has a gas supply, I have the meter number, and the MPR number, we are using gas, but we are not being charged. The MPR number or meter number is not registered with the national grid. I need to know which suppliers are taking on new gas customers, because the ones I have tried aren't.

Discretionary trust
Hi, I 'think" I want to create a Discretionary trust for my son. He has a lump sum of cash he's inherited, that I'd like to retain cover over until he's 25 (almost 20 atm). A discretionary trust seems to fit the bill but I'm sure what the options are for the actual funds. Do banks offer trust accounts?

I have to ring up and wait ages (FD…

DD suggestion... Prescription Prepayment Cert
This may be more useful with the 'rumoured' upcoming changes to up the age for free prescriptions to SPA? 'Search' couldn't find the main 'Where can I get another useful DD for switching/interest' thread - so if someone lets me know, and, if it's not included, I'll copy this over & delete it here. Spotted a possibility if…

When will 2 yr fix increase?
I want to place a sum on a 2 year fix. The best rate is with Al Rayan at 1.76% whom I have used a few times before and am happy. In years gone by I have locked in a 2 year fix only for base rates and available 2 year rates to increase shortly afterwards. Over the last few days there have been news stories about base rates…
