Request to Purchase IAG shares - Scam?
I've just received a phone call claiming to be from Capital Financial Services LLC (New York based) wanting to buy my IAG shareholding on behalf of a third party who already it claims now holds 48% of the shares. I've never had such an approach before for any of my shareholdings and I am extremely suspicious. Seems like a…

Savings LISA or S&S LISA?
HelloI would like to open a LISA this month ahead of the new tax year starting - but am unsure which to go with - a normal savings LISA or a S&S one. I am already a homeowner so the savings would not be used for a first home purchase. I see these savings as a long haul fund, only taken out once I reach 60. I think I could…

Which interest-saving account is best for my needs?
I have £3,000 saved now and I want to open a savings account that will earn me the highest rate of interest whilst allowing me to deposit around £1,500 per month. Is there such an account? It seems accounts that allow such large monthly deposits only attract 0.01% which isn't worth bothering with. Thank you

S&S ISA alternatives?
Over the last couple of years I have been saving in a variety of funds in an S&S ISA. I have been very lucky and I am about 18% up. I recognize that S&S's are long term and the amount in there could allow me about 18 months off work (living tightly). I now want to keep that money there as a rainy day fund and save in case…

Trading within a SIPP?
For years I've put £240 a month into funds via a SIPP at HL, and transferred in some former company pensions. My question is, can I transfer some or all the money from the Vanguard…

CTF/JISA
Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere already but I’m trying to open a savings/investment account for my nephew who’s about to turn 1. The problem with JISAs is that the child can control the money from age 16, of course I would hope he grows up to be sensible, but I’d rather play it safe and get an account whereby he…
