Instant access with fast pay
Now that the bonus has come to an end on my Natwest e-savings I need somewhere else to keep emergency cash. I know Sainsbury, Ing, AA etc have good rates (or had) but do they also do fast pay as I like to know I can get cash into my current account quickly? Any suggestions of who would fit the bill? Thanks

Hello to all. Just some advise if someone can assist please. I went into my local Abbey National branch yesterday to pay in a cheque. I was told by the cashier that I should really have my money doing better than it was as I only had a normal savings account with miniml interest. So I ended up having a meeting almost…

Cheshire 30 Day Postal Saver Account
http://www.thecheshire.co.uk/investment-saving-account/postal-accounts/index.asp Does this phrase 'for the lifetime of the account' just mean that after you draw the balance below £1000 the rate stays low (0.1%) regardless of subsequent additions? (That's how I read it...)

Lloyds Classic + Vantage: 1 account or 2? £1,000/mth in each Vantage?
I thought I'd start a new thread, instead of adding to "Is 3.40% the best for 1-year...", as my question is specific to Lloyds' Classic + Vantage account. Is the Classic + Vantage one account or two, i.e. a 'current' + 'savings'? If I open the max. of three accounts, does £1,000 have to be deposited (or circulated in and…

cashing in my ISA
I have a Halifax ISA investor which I have had since 1999. I put in £6000 and today it is worth £7657. I need some money for a car. Is it a good time to cash this in - I have seen it higher, but I've also seen it lower!

Equity ISA Question
Guys, I'm getting my feet wet with Equity ISA's by investing £50 a month in a fund through the co-operative bank. Is it possible to invest in multipul funds through the same provider as part of the same equity ISA? Or do I have to put all my allowance in one fund? Many thanks Leebobs

Real time websites
Hi, I am just reading "The naked Trader 2", and I am at the bit about real time websites. Robbie Burns says to follow, join free ADVFN and follow what he does from the book.I joined OK but the problem is that every time I click it wants you to upgrade and says your trial session ended after 30 sec. Is there another free…

Scottish Widows Internet Saver documentation required
Had the paperwork through for this SW account, and for each of us they ask for Original bank statement, cancelled cheque or bank giro credit for your nominated bank account. Really not too happy about sending bank statements away, and what exactly is a 'cancelled' cheque? Do they mean one we've written that's been cleared…

A & L Online Saver Issue 6
Hey guys, I've been looking at this account, and it says you have to deposit a minimum of £1,000 - but as far as I can tell, there is nothing to stop you taking £999 straight back out again. No interest penalty, nothing. Am I right, or is there something I've missed?

Best savings account for taking only one withdrawel per year
I need to change a joint savings account that me and my wife have as the interest rate on it is poor. We've not got much to start…
