Does anyone know if this is a good, safe bank? Personally I have never heard of it, but they are offering a bond paying 3.7%. If there is already a thread on this bank, then I apologize in advance:D

£90k to invest - options?
Hi all, I have a stack of cash in a Halifax Guaranteed Savings account that is due to mature soon. That has been fixed at 6% for the last year, but obviously rates have fallen substantially since then. I'm not sure what to do with it all. I see that NS&I were doing a fixed rate bond @ 3.95% but that has now ended. I guess…

ISA transfer - loss of interest
I have just transferred an ISA from Abbey to Chelsea BS. Abbey 'closed' my ISA, with a cheque to Chelsea BS dated 25 days after the closure - which, according to Chelsea, means that i receive no interest on my ISA during that time. Chelsea BS say that it is nothing to do with them. Can this be allowable? Tenorman.

Barclays Regular Saver - don't they want my money?
Encouraged by the MSE article which identified Barclays Monthly Saver (4.25% interest) as one of the best-paying and flexible regular savings accounts, I thought I'd open one.... Judging by the obstacles I encountered, climbing Everest (or robbing the bank!) would have been easier. According to their website, since I was…

£8,000 to invest - and require withdrawals
What account should I go for? I have £8,000 to put into an account now but it'll be dipped into regularly to give me living expenses. Therefore I'm assuming that an account which pays interest monthly would be preferable as, after a year, it's possible there may only be £6,500 remaining of it. But what account is best? I…

Cheap tracker funds
I am looking into investing regularly (small amounts) into a cheap tracker fund. It seems that HSBC trackers are the cheapest followed by L&G ones. Is cost the only consideration when choosing a tracker (i.e. opting for a HSBC fund) or perhaps other parameters need to be considered? BTW information on tracking errors does…
