Looking For An Account.
I have about £15,000 I want to invest in a fixed rate account that will allow me easy access, what are my options? I have used my ISA allowance and I have £10,000 in ICICI's fixed rate account, but due to that bank being unstable I don't want to invest anymore within it. Thanks in advance.

Savings rates bugging me
In the papers at the moment are many adverts for good(relatively) savings rates, gross that is. Why is it that they can't offer these rates under ISA's. The fact that when they take the tax off the gross rate it will be lower than most ISA rates shouldn't affect the supplier of the products, the tax isn't their money or is…

Complaining to Ombudsman help
Can someone clarify about complaining to the Financial Ombudsman, please? If I make an official complaint, do the financial institution have to sort it within 30 days or merely acknowledge that there is a problem within 30 days? I initiated an ISA transfer from A&L to NR on November 5th 2008. My A&L ISA was closed shortly…

I haven't put any money into my Barclays Tax Beater ISA for the 08/09 year because I lost the will to live when they took forever to sort out getting a payment into the right tax year.
