It is not my fault that the person that wrote the cheque did not have enough for it to be paid. Any advice would be…

However I am now back and…

What about the Hull County Court order?
Hi all just looking through this site at the timeline of developments, and a few things come to mind. Firstly, what's the deal with the Hull County Court order by Judge Beresford early July that several banks had to disclose full details of their costs in relation to current accounts? Does this no longer stand, given the…

9k Charges in one year
As stated in the subject line Lloyds have charged in a 12 month period in excess of £9000, which meant my account was overdrawn and consequently they have instructed debt collectors to recover this debt. I have requested copy statements to detail what the charges actually amount to over the last six years (as per this…

can you be lawfully charged, for being charged?
when I was with barclays, even though they were rip off merchants, they would not ie: if a direct debit bounced and they charged me £25, and this charge took me over my overdraft limit, they told me they could not charge me for being charged. ( the charge is the reason i was over drawn ). now putting my banks aside due to…

I've wrote to them and they said they have had to put everything on hold until the outcome of the test case. Are they aloud to do…
