Miele 'customer service'
Anyone tried to contact Miele lately about breakdowns of their products? Pretty much impossible to get through to them within a reasonable time now - 25 minutes so far and still waiting to speak to someone. Very expensive machines, but they obviously don't rate their customers highly enough to provide any sort of service.

Fischer heating - be warned
Be very wary when getting this heating installed. The installers have made a mess of my home - putting holes anywhere they want - ignoring the surveyor, using bad language and generally useless, saying that the documentation you are signing is just a formality and that Fischer will make good any damage they have done -…

We just paid £198 (£99 each) to Wowcher for a Mystery Holiday Lottery style draw for holidays ranging from 3-4 nights long haul to 2 night European breaks. We went on the assumption it would likely be a Euro City break but was still a bargain. The deal was with weekenderbreaks.com. The "draw" took place and we were…

Amazon Gift Cards
Received a few Amazon gift cards for Christmas. What a hassle it was to enter the codes to redeem them on Amazon though! These are revealed when a panel is scratched off, and really difficult to see and decipher. A V looks like U, an 8 or 5 looks like S, and so on. After three failed attempts to correctly input the code,…
