Would you buy a pack of 9 or 10 for same price??
Well snickers are in packs of 9 or 10, both cost £1.99 however the 10 pack weighs 350gms and the 9 pack weighs 375gms. All the writing on the front of the packs give no indication that the 10 pack is for smaller bars!

Praise for Vodafone shop
While to many it may not seem the greatest thing I can only praise my local Vodafone shop. Not being the most tech minded person:( and unable to get info from one sim card to another I asked my shop if they could help. Not only did they swap all my details over in a few mins but there was not even a token charge for the…

Dunster House - Customer Service is non-existent
We have recently bought a log cabin from Dunster House. Very helpful sales team and dispatch, happy to talk over the phone. Once the cabin is delivered, it is a different story - they will only converse over e-mail - regardless of whether they have made a huge mistake on your delivery and caused you unknown inconvenience.…

Police ringing my doorbell when visiting my neighbour
A strange one I know but maybe someone can advise? I live on a ground floor in a house conversion, there are 2 flats above me. Police has been coming to one of the neighbours every day since Sunday and they keep on ringing my bell and then barging past me saying they have to go upstairs. Person they want to see is…

Has anyone purchased from Logcabin uk
I have been looking for sometime to purchase a 4m X 4m Log cabin to be used as a workshop. I have come across Logcabin UK Ltd, which are very reasonable on price, my only concern is that they are a distribution centre and have no showroom. Web site looks OK and ebay feedback looks OK. My question is has anyone had any…

A camping issue - Is this right, legal or fair?
I am new to camping, and to this official camping site. I fist came to store my caravan. But on 2nd January, having been pressured into a membership/joining fee; as a 'senior' entitles 25% discount. Having now paid, I learned 'discount' does not apply to 'high season' or 'serviced pitch'. I was offered a deal whereby I am…

Were Tesco fair?
Was in Tesco earlier today with OH who wanted a certain brand 4 pint bottle of organic milk, but only bottle available had very short lifespan. She approached a member of staff who was picking items from the shelf for delivery customers. Upon being approached, this member of staff immediately stopped what he was doing and…

Every ebay customer must read this
Hi everyone. I got a bit of a fright tonight after purchasing something off ebay. I normally just click PURCHASE then PAYPAL and the whole thing does it for me without logging in etc. Tonight though I got a right fright. Now on 9/2/16 I got an email from ebay to say my account may have been hacked and to change my…

Dawn Meats
I bought some Premium frozen mince and it's the worst mince I've ever encountered. I've been cooking for about 45 years. I'd class myself as a good home cook. I cooked this stuff on the hob for about 45 minutes, even adding wine to try and tenderise it. It was still a bit chewy and was full of gristle. I did some research…

Scam email allegedly from Paypal...
Just posting FYI as I had not seen this one before... Received this from "PayPal Payments <vqDH.mjQL@tufts.edu>" It was just good enough to make me think for a moment and check my actual PayPal transactions - particularly as it claims that you have bought a subscription to something... However, the "from" address is…

Not happy with NS&I
To be in the April 1st draw, I rang to buy some premium bonds and the young man said that there was no record of my buying any before. This was a big shock as I know I have lots, but he said that once I went online all would be fine, as the problem arose because I last bought bonds at the Post Office. I also asked for my…

Active Life Ignoring Telephone Preference Scheme
Had a phone call yesterday originating from 02038 757288 Caller said that her name was "Melony" and that she was calling from Active Life about our Private Health Insurance. We do not have any such thing and certainly would not consider any offered from such a scum-sucking, TPS-ignoring company as theirs.

SCAM - boots and shoes website
So, Mrs Frog asked me to find another pair of her boots, which are well worn and no longer made by the manufacturer. I used google, and came across this website... http://www.acneaid.co.uk/ ...which had her boots at a very good price. I thought I would share some of the indicators of a scam. - co.uk domain, but prices end…

Mercure hotels with Tesco club card vouchers
If anyone is thinking of using their club card vouchers for Mercure or Novotel hotels, be very careful. I recently phoned the reservations line to book 2 hotel rooms (2 separate nights) and booked the rooms I wanted. You have to give your credit card details in case you don't turn up. The next step is to order the clubcard…

Alterantive view
I have been a member on here for many years and read this board with interest. I have read valid complaints and TBH stupid complaints.. What some may not understand is that businesses have to deal with all complaints and that this costs money. The stupid idiotic complaints along with the genuine ones.. The cost of dealing…

MyHermes, advice needed
We've been in all day so far & when DH went into our porch, he found a calling card from My Hermes saying they've left a parcel in our garage. Firstly, our garage is secure so can't be opened from the outside, that said, we've checked around the outside of our house and there is nothing there. Secondly, there is no…
