If Gilts are low risk then why has the BGI Index-linked gilt fund fallen today?
Its 4% down in line with the FTSE. I thought this was a safe fund in times like this, so why has it fallen? I should have gone to cash I think. Can anyone more knowledgable explain / advise please

Pension pot and £35,000 FSA guarantee?
At the age of 65, my pension pot (pension not yet taken) with Halifax is well in excess of £35,000. Are pension pots covered only to the usual £35,000 FSA guarantee? I would hope that they are protected to a greater extent. Comments pse. M
