UKPC - POPLA Appeal
Hi, I would appreciate assistance for UKPC POPLA appeal I am drafting. The driver parked in a space that that previously hadn't been monitored by UKPC. The reason for the ticket isn't really visible on the photograph evidence supplied by UKPC. Despite the actual sign itself being rather big, it seems to be missing key…

Hello, A few months ago I received a leaflet from my local council, Sheffield, saying in the next few months they would be resurfacing my road and that notice would be given. Cars not removed would be towed according to the leaflet. I have just got back from a two week holiday to find my car has been towed away. There were…

Matalan could not care one bit
A visit to Matalan in Reading the other day has led to an unfair £100 parking charge notice. The MSE article about fighting unfair tickets suggest reporting to landowner as they may well be “be horrified at its antics and willing to intervene” I know Matalan is the tenant, but they really could not care one bit; you would…

Not sure if I have followed the advice on here correctly?
Hi all, I would be extremely grateful for some advice on whether or not I have followed the correct procedure. On 7th April my car was issued with a PCN (a sticker on the windscreen) by Conkai Security for allegedly parking in a residential car park in Oxford without a valid permit. The sticker was ignored. On 18th August…

Popla changing mind.
Noticed a few posts here and elsewhere where popla have (been bribed) their minds in favour of the PPC. Thought a trawl through their terms and conditions could be interesting. Taken from Popla's website. What if I am not happy with the assessor’s decision? POPLA is a one stage process and there are only two possible…

Parking in the Copper Quarter
A driver received a Parking Charge Notice from Millennium Parking Services in 2014 after possibly parking in the Copper Quarter in Swansea. The driver followed many other parkers to park there obviously unaware about the PCN’s being handed out by MPS. After ‘‘advice’’ from other parkers with PCN’s attached to their…
