Virtually identical walking holidays in a European country are offered by several companies. Some require a booking payment in GB pounds, some in Euros. Which should we go with?

Travel cards?
Going away in 3 weeks time for weekend in Spain, stag weekend. I was going to take cash, heard recently about something called travel cards, you top up an amount and use that instead like a debit card/prepayment card. Would the bars/pubs/restaurants accept them as payment?
