Elliotts Holiday timeshare
Hello, Im not sure if this is the right area to ask this but my parents have had a 1/52th timeshare in a villa (they own 1 week at year). They have to pay management fees each year. They have been told that the liability will pass to my sister and myself when they die. Is this legal? Thanks for any information Tim

I have a seventy something relative who is in the process of being diagnosed with dementia (referred for hospital memory test). :( They presently live with their spouse (who is quite a bit older, has physical health problems, I *think* largely separate finances) in my relative's home. There is one adult child who is very…

Power of attorney
Some years back my parents just sprung on me out of the blue a "request" to sign a form agreeing to have power of attorney on them. They knew I was visiting with a friend (ie potential witness) and the form was sitting there and it was a case of "Here...sign here". They had never mentioned this to me previously. I would…

Best place to save?
I have, I hope found a buyer for my house. I am currently renting a retirement flat. I should have £120000 once the house is sold. My land lord does not want to sell, so I want to put the cash somewhere safe, so that I can use if for continued renting or for a flat purchase in the future. Never had this sort of money…

Does this seem all right?
My brother and I have LPoA for my mother (mid 80s) who is still very competent both mentally and physically. She actually makes all financial decisions herself, although she runs them past me after removing money from an ISA to put it in another one a couple of years ago. I use the LPoA for sorting most things like house…

Benefits for Overseas
This was on the news this morning, I feel that it is too much benefit money going overseas, when they cannot even train people on how to deal with nursing of the elderly and vulnerable in UK. Below is taken from from migration watch report. No wonder they wanted to give Tony a reward. http://www.migrationwatchuk.org/…
