Writing your own will
Hi, My Gran has asked me to help her write her will. She already has one but wants to make changes to it and there is a clause on it which means the company can come in and take everything from the house to sell on which obviously isnt what she wants to happen. Quick stairlift query
My MIL is in need of a stairlift as she is struggling with the stairs. My query is that the stairs are internal within the house (garage on one side, living room on the other). Can a stairlift therefore be put in, or do they have to be attached to an external wall? Many thanks for any replies.

Time to regulate legal fringe
http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/law/article6860909.ece Inquiry focuses on risks of unqualified people doing wills and probate, claims handling and the lack of a proper complaints and compensation procedure for solicitors. Very timely, it's obvious this area needs cleaning up.

Senior Railcard £5 from local council
I've just discovered that my local council (Gwynedd) issue Senior railcards for £5 providing you don't have a bus pass or £20 if you already have a bus pass. I don't know if any other local authorities have similar offers but it would be worth checking locally if you are thinking of buying a senior railcard.
