Freezing houmous
Have just made a ridiculous amount of houmous, considering there's only 4 of us, didn't quite realise just how far one tin of chick peas could go! Was therefore thinking about freezing it in a couple of tubs / ice cube trays ... has anyone frozen houmous before and what were the results? It will take me at least five weeks…

dumpling recipe without suet?
Has anyone got any recipes to make dumplings to go with mince that doesn't need suet? I have made some before using butter, but they didn't fluff up that much and tasted a tad too buttery. cake in a jar + update
well i finally made them, and they came out perfect, the la parfait jars off Ebay were perfect. HE is gonna love them, plus my idea now is to make these as cheep Christmas gifts. I did 3 yesterday 2 banana and sultana bread, and one milk chocolate cake, and put in a pre packaged Chocolate fudge topping.
