Future of 95% mortgages??
Am getting increasingly worried about what is going to happen when the help to buy scheme ends in December. My husband and I are hoping to get a mortgage with a 7% deposit in January/February and I'm getting really worried that all the 95% will be pulled by the banks :(

Minimum price/deposit for a 95% mortgage anyone?
What is the smallest deposit you need for a 95% mortgage? HSBC want the minimum property value of £100,000 or £5,000 deposit. I can't see anything for any of the other lenders though. I just think that if you want to buy a cheap place for around £40,000 a £2,000 deposit seems a bit small. L
