I want to sign this flat over to my husband as I will not be able to get a mortgage in my own name once my divorce is finalised if I am on another mortgage. My son cannot claim…

Unfortunately before we could tell her how to sign it she scribbled her name and address in wrong boxes! I'm really worried this will delay the purchase and vendor's will get…

I am in Scotland and I have seen a property at fixed price £98,000 but the home report values it at £100,000. Can I get a mortgage of £100,000 (minus deposit) or will I only get £98,000 (minus deposit)? Thanks.

95% LTV on New Build?
Has anyone seen any sensible mortgage products on the market at 95% LTV for new builds with decent rates? We're desperate to move as we've found our dream home after a long search, but the drop in value on our current home has left us shorter in equity than we'd like, so we're not in a great position. Estate agent has…

Payment Holidays
Hi all, This may sound a rather stupid question but im not yet savvy on mortgages. To keep things simple, if your mortgage was £100 a month, you overpay for 5 months at £100 a time so are £500 up. If you apply these to the capital amount so reduce it by the £500 does this then mean you could/couldn’t (lender permitting)…
