My current Nationwide fixed rate is ending at the end of June. Does anyone know if Nationwide are going to have some member exclusive mortgages again, as these looked pretty competitive a few weeks ago?

Reverse Mortgage
There was an advert in the News of the World on Sunday. A company are offering reverse mortgages. They are saying that they will give you what your property is worth, rent it back to you or at a later date give you the option to buy it back. Anyone heard of it, and is it the old proverbial barge pole situation?

I have had the luxury of being able to massively overpay my repayment mortgage over the last 2 years so instead of paying £350 ish a month, I have been paying £1100. The mortgage was flexible and I was able to overpay what I liked and have no penalty. I am…

Pretty bubbles in the air?
I not sure if this is the most appropriate board for this post but here goes. It has been claimed that the current rise in asset prices, particularly property, is fuelled by a credit bubble which has flooded the world with amazingly (at the time) cheap and readily available money which appears, now, to becoming more…
