6month loan needed (like egg, but not egg)
hello there, new to the site and think it's great! I was just wondering whether anyone had seen a 6 month loan option similar to egg, but not egg. I only ask as their rates are high but I can't find a way of finding out ALL other lenders minimum terms. any help much appreciated. Cheers, Chris

Cahoot Loan Interest Question
Before I start jumping up and down and potentially make a fool of myself, what's the general opinion of MSErs on this? I have a £10K cahoot flexible loan facility and only draw on it now to facilitate cheaper deals on my credit card. So here's the score: 30.08.05 - £14.81 payment was made so the balance was brought to nil…

Early Repayment Charges??
Hi all, Sorry if this has been asked previously, but just wondered about something. We have a loan with Nationwide which allows us to overpay. We are intending to pay this off as quickly as possible, but in the t&c's it states that 58 days interest will be charge on early repayment. Now, how does this work? Do we get the…

Lloyds TSB Loan @ 13.5% with PPI!!!
Hi, As you can see from my signiture I consolidated all my debts into one loan (very stupid thing to do). I went to my local bank, Lloyds TSB, who advised me to consolidate and take out a loan with them. I naively did so. I got a consolidation loan at 13.5% for £27,000. This was in April this year. This is the only debt I…

12k to pay off 10k loan??
Morning, I'd like a bit of advice - a friend ;) , would like to clear their loan early with Lloyds TSB. There is approximately 10k left to clear on the loan, but LTSB wants 12.5k! The extra is to cover interest payments and payment protection for what would be the remainder of the loan. Apparently LloydsTSB then refund the…

I got a loan - but have I made a mistake?
A month ago I was overdrawn by £1000 on my current account, and my credit card balance was £4000 at a rate of 14.9%. I was only ever paying the minimum payment because I wasn't working. I rang the bank with a general enquiry and they suddenly offered me a loan to pay off both the overdraft and credit card, i.e. £5000. The…

Hi, I am a property owner. I owe the mortgage lender (Nat West) £142,000 (@ 6.59%) & my property is worth £210,000. Tesco Loan = Fantastic
Had to share this, my new wife and I took out a Tesco loan to pay for our wedding. We got married on the 23rd September, and our flat sold on the 30th so we needed a bit of working capital, flat sale profits more than covered the loan. We took out a £15K Tesco loan, with no early repayment penalties, and a 2 month…
