IVA Debt Resurfacing
In about 2001 I took out an IVA. After about 2 and a half years I decided to remortgage my house (which in hindsight was what I should have done in the first place) and made an offer to the creditors, which they accepted. The IVA was settled, over the next few years I managed to repair my credit rating, and everything was…

I have been offered a temporary position, for one month. However, It could become permanent after this time. I have a DRO and have just over 2 months until my discharge date. On IVA but still have credit card with credit available, can I use it?
After I was accepted on to an IVA, my creditors froze my cards so I could not use them, except one card which I never owed money to. They seem to be unaware that I am on an IVA and my credit limit with them remains in tact. Could I use this card only in emergencies? If so, would my creditors find out?

Hello, In April, I called CCCS to discuss my debts totalling £11,000. I had lost my job in February and started claiming Income Based Job Seekers Allowance in March, which I still receive. House Insurance V IVA
Our household insurance requires renewing..we've just read small print that states we have to notify them if we are bankrupt (I guess if not they would not cover us if we had to claim) - would the IVA be classed as in the same category?
