Where Are You Transferring Your IceSave ISA's To?
Despite all that IceSave put us customers through, I plan to keep the bulk of my money in a bank, I am now deciding where to transfer my ISA to. Have any IceSave customers with an ISA made a decision on this?

Manchester Building Society - Safe? Good customer service?
I'm considering taking out a fixed ISA with Manchester BS and was wondering if anyone had an opinion on them? If they're a safe place to be putting funds (I presume they're covered under the FSCS) and whether I'm going to have any nightmares transferring ISAs to them. Customer service any good? Anyone have an ISA with them…

Can I have some ISA advice please?
From a complete newbie - I've never used ISAs before. From what I understand, ISAs are just like normal savings accounts, except the interest is untaxed. So I have two questions: 1. If an ISA is the same as a normal savings account, why does the Legal and General blurb say this: Legal & General offers many options for…

Conflicting IFA advice re Stocks & Shares ISA
Hi All I have a Fidelity Wealthbuilder Stocks and Shares ISA that I paid into from 1997 until 2003. I have not paid into it since then due to other financial commitments and a reduction in my income. As I watch its value gracefully decline I thought I would approach my IFA for advice on what (if anything) to do. I also…

Nationwide - it pays to complain
I along with thousands of others suffered because of the long delays in transferring ISA's to the Nationwide. Mine didn't go through until August. I made numerous phone calls but to no avail. I made a formal complaint, and the Nationwide offered me £25 as a goodwill gesture because of all the calls I made. I accepted their…

Help required with Maxi ISA dilemma
Hi there I took out a maxi ISA approximately 9-10 years ago with the Woolwich. Since the Woolwich was taken over by Barclays, this was transferred to the Barclays Alpha Maxi ISA which is invested in the UK. I originally invested 5,000 and this figure has gone down but never really improved significantly on the original…

ISA and Icesave
It looks like I will have to claim my savings including a 3 year ISA from FSCS because of the Icesave problem. Will I now be able to get an ISA with another company and still be entitled to invest the £9000+ amount that I have built up over three year terms or will I have to start again from scratch? Forlorn hope I think!

Can I transfer elsewhere ?
I opened up a ICESAVE ISA this past week to transfer my HSBC ISA to it. I hadn't yet sent off my form to start proceedings (luckily), so there was no money in the ICESAVE ISA. However does this count as opening an ISA in this tax year, or can I still open and transfer to another one ?
