that was easy! 07/08 Northern Rock mini ISA opened
NR 1 year fixed mini cash ISA @ 6.01% AER. completed the online application, printed it off & posted it with my cheque last weds 11th April - confirmation of new ISA a/c received in the post today. notice dated 16th, so i assume this is the open/active date for the a/c. very painless! well done NR :T

ISA Allowance for 08/09
Can someone please clarify the ISA allowance for 08/09. Its my understanding that we that we can still keep both a mini cash & mni s&s isa in the same tax year, however the maximum we can invest in each is £3600. On the other hand we will be able to stick £7200 in a maxi ISA. Is this correct?
