Quote for doors - does this sound right?

Structural engineer fee
Just been given a bill from a structural engineer who I asked to determine if a wall was loadbearing (it wasn't). For a 10-15 min visit where he poked a tape measure through a hole I'd previously made in the ceiling and writing an email, he's billing me for £250 plus VAT. Is that reasonable? It seems a bit excessive to me.
Supply & Hang wooden door
I've been quoted over £700 to supply and hang a new wooden door. The door chosen was the Richmond Glazed from Howdens. This includes a standard satin handle and 5 lever lock also from Howdens. I'm struggling to get other carpenters to even come and quote so wondered if this was about right. We are in outer London.
